I'm the proud original owner of a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle has 165,000 miles on it. I've had very little problems with the vehicle, only a few replacements (radiator, power steering pump, water pump etc.).

I'm looking at a new Patriot, mostly because of the "Clunkers Program"

Does anyone have anything comments about the Patriot, Good or Bad???

Really having trouble determining if I should trade or not. That many miles must mean things will start to break.

HELP!! Opinions on the Patriot!!!!

As stated in this post: (http://www.jeepforums.org/drivers-seat-position-jeep-patriot-t37443.htm) it would appear that the Seats are the main draw back. without any support and not very comfortable.. This could be one reason why the Patriot may not make its return to the States.

If your still hooked don "jeep" best buy a new or used Commander.. Or the new Liberty.. Yet the Liberty will still have the seat issue.. and the commander is going the way of the doodoo birds.. Perhaps wait until this shake up settles.. and head over to Europe.. Once Fiat takes over we may see some improvements in the "jeep" name..

Or will the "seat" issue still exists..
