Has anybody heard about adding acetone to your fuel to boost the mileage? I've seen a few posts about it, wondered if you used industrial grade stuff or plain fingernail polish remover.

I bought the commercial grade stuff from Advanced Auto Parts and noticed the engine ran more smoothly. I did not notice a huge difference in fuel economy. I read on the web somewhere 4 fluid ounces per full tank of gasoline. Had something to do with reducing the surface tension of the gasoline ? I need to get a better funnel/measuring cup and try it again. 103,000+ miles and the only problem I seam to be having is dirty injectors ? Does not want to start on the first crank usually on the second or third.
