Have another question. I want to add on to my rollbar. 81 Cj7 original bar. Would like to put the bars on from behind your head to the windshield. The reason is to put a sound bar across. Any suggestions on who has the parts. I saw the bars that go to the front floor but thought that they would get in the way. Never go off road so its more for looks and sound. Thanks much David

I had a CJ7 and a TJ. I now have a CJ2A. The rollbar on your CJ is really a "sport bar" as it would not handle a roll over. The TJ has the kind of bar add ons you are looking for. You may be able to adapt these or fabricate you own after looking at one of the TJ models. I hope this helps as I have not seen an bars already made for your Jeep. Larry

I agree on part that David will have to fab the rollbar to use the speaker system.   The part that I strongly disagree is when you say that the roll bar of the CJ won't handle a roll over. It just happens that las June 4 my CJ rolled over, with mi inside, of course the speed was hardly 1MPH but the FAST descent was about 10 - 12 ft and the stock rollbar handled the 1 1/4 roll over it perfectly.  

I found two roll bar ext. off of ebay. They said they would work/fit from windshield to the bar over my head. May have to drill or weld. Hope it works.   Thanks David
