We have had our Commander for about two weeks.. and the odd thing about this "switch" was the fact that we drove a 99 wrangler.. and got roughly the same gas mileage.. But now we are in comfort and have a better since of the roads. Yet I'm not sure we would go off road with he 07 Commander.. But its good knowing it can or could If I wanted it to.

Sure the 06 will have some issues just as any other vehicle.. but the main issue many are facing today.. is the fact that some of the commanders have not had their recalls done properly.. or in other words.. The chip ha snot been "flashed" correctly in order to stop a "stalling" issue all grand Cherokees, Patriots, Commanders and some Libertys.. Seems that day the Chrysler Programmer wasn't paying attention.

Depending on what you want to use the Commander for IE hauling.. I would stick with the 4.7L or the Hemi option.. But if you just people hauling.. then the V6 should work well for you. There is a slight blind spot at the left rear corner.. when looking over your shoulder.. best add some "fish eye" mirrors to the external mirrors already in place.
