Cooling fan update

I had my mechanic wire my cooling fan with a remote switch, keeping the automatic thermstat also. With the daily temps breaking 100 daily, its only making about 5-10 degrees difference for my afternoon drive, hopefully when the heat breaks it will make a bigger difference. My daily drive: 5 miles of GRIDLOCK. 17 miles of stop n go

Have you checked the mechanical clutch fan?  If it is not kicking in the way it should the electric can't cool it alone.

I put a new one on mine and my temps never go over 200 (correct 195 stat) even when idling with the AC cranked in 95-100 deg weather.
I have a new CSF 2 row rad in mine as well.  Stock it only had a thin little 1 core rad.  Got it from Radiatorbarn.com for $130 shipped.
