Hiya, new to the forum. I own a 2000 cherokee sport. For a long time my heater blower would not turn on in 1-3 speed, but would work fine in 4 speed. That went out today. I have researched it and think it is a resistor problem. Took my glove box off, but for the life of me cannont find the resister. Any help would be very useful. I got some mechanical skills, so any info would be extremely helpful. Thanks fellow jeepers!

Bought a 95 Cherokee and it developed the same problem.. I put it in the shop today.. If you haven't gotten any help when I get back, I let you know the outcome. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gitara.gif)

I believe that if your fan resistor keeps breaking it is because your fan motor is not working correctly and it is drawing too much current.Replace your fan motor and all will be well!
