I am new to Jeep ownership. I got a 1985 Jeep and the soft top seems to be shrunk. It won't fit when I try to put it up. I'm totally new to this, so I'm wondering if this is common? Can i do something to stretch it out again. I can't really afford to get the new top I want, so I don't want to buy a cheap one for the mean time. any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

lay it out in the sun and let it get soft, adjust your hardware to the lowest point, start at the window frame and you should be able to pull it around until it fits. Hope this helps.
