The other day i put in new plugs and plug wires and also changed some
vaccum lines . The check light always came on so i just ignored it,
after i had taken it to a shop to get a diognastic and they coudnt
figure it out so i decided just to live with it .But, after i put the
new plugs in , which i do every six months , no change , but then i
stuck in the new plug wires with the plugs this time and the check
engine light went off and stayed off till i hit a bump and it started
to flicker on and off . Then after drivng for a while ,say 20 min. in
the regular day heat it stayed on. The funny thing is it idles perfect
until the check light comes on,which is in the morning when it runs a
perfect idle then it drops to a low idle were the whole car slightly
comes to a wobble when the check engine light comes on and starts to
flicker. It sure is hot outside here in Stockton , CA so i appreciate
so helpful tips before i go out there and sweat my but off tinkering
around. thanks guys , i'll be listening.
