Throttle body spacer

Has anybody ever installed or used a throttle body spacer? Do they make any difference? Are they a pain to install? thanks, - DB

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to improve MPG,  Long commutes and NC's  rape and pillage gas tax isnt working
