Hello, I have a 79 CJ7. Can I put a wrangler tub on a 79 CJ7? I know the fuel door and tailgate are different, but can I put a newer wrangler tub on it and can I use my original fenders doors, hood and so on with this if its possible? If so are there many other differences that I will encounter? Wiring or anything else gonna cause a problem? Thanks for the info. Don

I am also going to perform this swap in the future. Here is a website of a fella that has performed the swap and wrote "most" of the information down and took pictures while he was in the process. www.inajeep.com Look under the '82 CJ7 buildup. You will see the YJ Body Tub Swap section. He gives a lot of good information, at least enough to get you started. Hope this helps
