you all can help me out73 CJ Windshield swap question

Maybe you all can help me out... I have a 73 CJ5 with no top. I was given a 78 CJ5 hard top. Everything seems to fit ok except the windshiled. Can I swap a 78 wendshield into my 73 and make it all fit? Thanks for any help you can give me, Jeff

did you check width?

You have to put the '78 hinges on the '73.

Almost did that last week, gladly, I found the '66 hinges on time.

So to use a later jeep top on my 74 cj5, all i need is the windshield hinges?

hey jeff my name is chris i used to have a wrangeler hard top but i swichd to a soft top i had to swich the windshield to u might be abel to swich ur windshield. to the 73
